The Peak Pro Interior Painting Process

Interior painting can feel like an insurmountable task, so we offer some helpful suggestions to your interior painting process. When you and your home are ready for the full interior upgrade, color can make a huge difference. When starting your interior painting project, sometimes it can be hard to decide where to start.

Start with the common areas and paint from there

Whenever Peak Pro does a full home interior upgrade, we always start by painting the kitchen. Painting the common areas first ensures that they’re finished first and are ready for use as soon as possible after beginning the project. Peak Pro can’t stress enough how important the prep work is when we are painting houses in Denver and Colorado areas because of the changing climate. Making sure all surfaces are clean and repaired will make a huge difference in your finished product.

After we finish painting the living room or kitchen, then we move on to the secondary rooms: bedrooms, formal rooms, guest rooms, etc. By painting the most commonly used rooms first, it’s possible to continue living in the house while the secondary ones are being worked on!

Peak Pro Painting is Denver’s most trusted professional painting company. If you’re looking to get the most out of your exterior stain, try using a solid stain instead of semi-transparent. It looks similar to a paint but it doesn’t go on as thick. Solid stains still show a little of the wood grain but do cover mostly like a paint. You’ll get more life out of solid stain. It also saves you money!
